1. According to the classification of liquid fuel consumption, fuel oil generator sets can be classified into diesel generator sets, heavy fuel oil generator sets, crude oil generator sets, liquid biofuel generator sets, etc.

2. According to the engine speed, fuel oil generator sets can be classified into high-speed fuel oil generator sets (speed greater than 1000r/min, four-strokes), medium-speed fuel oil generator sets (speed of 400-1000r/min, four-strokes), and low-speed fuel oil generator sets (speed below 400 r/min, two-strokes).
