Floating Power Barge refers to the installation of a power station on a specially designed vessel, which can quickly provide electricity, heating, and drinking water for natural disasters, offshore operations that are difficult to cover by the power grid, and remote areas. Suitable for coastal areas and large river basins.

Sometimes, when electricity is needed for a short period of time in remote areas or areas affected by natural disasters, floating power barges are the best and fastest solution. The land resources required for building a power station may not be available, and water transportation may be the only way for large equipment to reach the site.

A floating power barge can be completely independent and can be installed relatively quickly in any location accessible by waterways, such as ports, coastal areas, or near rivers, providing independent power supply to local resources or infrastructure.

We can provide all fuel and gas generator sets with power ranging from 2MW to 200MW for floating power barges, which can provide electricity burning diesel, heavy oil, or dual fuel. They can transmit electricity to all accessible places via waterways: coastal areas, ports, rivers, lakes, and other waterways. They can be quickly located near areas in need of electricity, thereby supporting rapid economic and infrastructure development in remote areas.

Advantages of Floating Power Barge:

1. Simple and direct in places where power stations are urgently needed;

2. Quickly support infrastructure construction in remote areas;

3. Short construction time: A 70MW power station can be installed and completed in less than 12 months;

4. Reduce reliance on areas with power shortages or non-existent electricity;

5. Not affected by landslides and earthquakes;

6. Independent of local infrastructure;

7. The minimum investment risk and financing advantage of operators benefit from the liquidity, universality, and adaptability of such power stations.
